I’m a new New Life Empowerment Coach.
Primary Objective: I desire a logo that captures my coaching focus which is “Awakening to Your Divine Purpose”. I help my clients “Discover, Speak, Live Your Heart’s Voice”.
The benefits of this type of coaching include achieving absolue peace of mind, heart and soul. Experiencing abundance flowing into all areas of your life. Experience of confidence and fullfillment that comes from living your truth. Learning how to step out of fear and doubt into peace in joy.
Target Audience: People who are ready to create a powerful heart centered life purpose statement which answers the question “Why am I here and what am I supposed to be doing with my life?”
What does Target Audience currently think?: currently people believe this is a question that is only answered by the lucky few but never them.
What would you like them to think or do?: I would like them to consider that the answer to this question is inside of them and that a Divine Purpose Coach can be of tremendous value in awakening the knowing within them.
What is the single most persuasive idea we can convey: that we all came here with a life purpose unique to each of us and that if we let our heart speak and listen to our heart we will clearly understand our purpose.
What are the factors inhibiting marketing this message: I believe many people are not only ready for this message but are open to receive credible support. More people than ever are interested in service to others and tending to the care of the planet.
Brand Core Values: Self-empowerment, Self-fullillment, Self-truth
Tone/visual look: I trust the designer of the logo on this one more than myself: perhaps a sense of moving out of the shadows into the light so that it seems inspiration rather than just another cliche? How do you graphically depict a Heart’s
Voice speaking truth? Why should they believe us: We are all touched/inspired by stories of anyone (rich or poor) who moved into a full knowing of their life purpose and lifted others up and find ourselves praying why not me.
Creative Guideline: Listen to your heart speak!

Comments:
Thomas, I believe you are confusing the role of coach and client. Your role in the current situation is not that of a coach: you are the client. As client, you offer specifics such as those EmLiam has suggested. With such specifics in hand, designers can offer-up a great variety of design solutions to a known and specific branding problem. When faced with a moving target such as you have thus far presented, the odds of success in finding a branding solution are greatly diminished and the potential for (unintentional?) abuse of designers’ good will vastly increased. So too is the likelihood of reciprocal frustration on the part of the designers. So, settle in your mind once-and-for-all a specific goal, put it forth as fixed target that we designers can aim at, then see the positive results that come of it. Cheers to all.
Hello Ryu Thank you for your question. I can imagine and appreciate the frustration you and the other designers have experienced working on my logo. I am sincerely grateful to each of you for the time, effort and interest in supporting my wish to achieve a logo that speaks my message. I did want to offer an alternative view to the one you posted regarding expectations of a life coach. Coaching at its best is leading a client to accept that they have the answers they are looking for within them, that they have the freedom of choice to consider one of an unlimited number of possible answers to their question, and that they get to examine and decide if it truly is their answer. This process may result in one choice being discarded without self-judgment or self-criticism in favor of exploring yet another of the unlimited choices available. You are right Ryu, that sooner or later a good coach would encourage the client to make a choice that they know they can live with, but as a coach I would not discourage my clients from considering multiple options nor would I suggest to them that there is a time line in which they must settle on a decision. The choices always belong to the client. I contrast your frustration with my joy as I have sharpened and fine tuned my message over these past four weeks and as I continue to explore the field of unlimited possibilities I may find myself returning to Logosauce.com for an upgrade to my logo. I would hope to see you there as well. Thank you. Tom
im sorry.. but if you are meant to be a life coach… how can you change your name, logo, strapline, sub strapline, sub sub strapline etc, sooo many times.. how are you meant to guide others if you don’t know what you are after yourself! ??
Thomas Brown(CH): It is so confusing! It would be helpful if you can give it in the format below (or similar).

more guidance: could we try an image that denotes the movement of light emerging from darkness thanks tom
To all designers working on my behafl. I have been giving more thought to my coachng niche and wanted to offer the following as an expansion of my original profile statement. I help people discover or re-discover their life purpose during times of change associated with loss. This can be the death of a loved one, painful divorce, retirement, job loss or serious illness. Life changes bring questions, coaching brings answers. I work with people who want to experience their life purpose through life’s challenges. My core message is “When your inner light has dimmed and you’re wondering what your life means, the opportunity to powerfully transform yourself is here, now. In this moment of uncertainty discover your life purpose, transform your life, transform the world”. I would like to see 2 new tags line – Line 1 – Seeing Your Life followed by – Line 2 -From a Brighter Perspective. Many thanks for your patience and persistence. Tom
Tom feel free to comment on particular logos if they’re getting close to the mark. -G9
Clarification The tag lines should read Discover Your Life Purpose with a sub tag line of Illuminate The World the With Gratitude and Appreciation is my sign off for my communications, emails, letters, and so on. Sorry for the confusion Tom
My apologies for not getting back sooner. Your guidance regarding including my name in the logo was received with appreciation. You are not only professionals but have well developed instincts for what speaks. However, for me this is an exercise in understanding who I am and what I do and the designs I am receving are helping me to achieve that goal. I always have the option of returning to this wonderful site if my intuition points me in another direction. I would like to rework the tag lines to – Discover You Life Purpose – Illuminate The World With Gratitude and Appreciation Tom
i think it should be your name too… ‘be fearless-discovering your life purpose’ is more of a advert sign off.. not a company name
I have to agree. I think it would best to use your name but not a logo that is based around it. So keeping with the empowered figure idea for a mark, then using your name as the main text. -G9
Hey, my names Jamie, I’m a designer from the UK and I love the idea of your company, but i strongly suggest you use your name as the logo espesially for a company such as yours. Think of other people in the same area, ( e.g. Tony Robbins) they almost always have to use there name because they are like a 1 man band and have to sell themselves rather than there company, it is so important for people to remember your name rather than your funky designed logo or mark. A little free advice from your bud Jamie, get back Tom cheers…
Let’s try adding a solid line between Discovering Your Life Purpose and Be Fearless. I am curious if this will add a sense of strength to the tag lines. With Gratitude Tom
That is correct – I don’t want my name in the logo.
so can i clarify that you don’t want your name in the logo at all?
I have to say I love seeing my name so boldly displayed but I erred in suggesting that my name was a company or agency name. The designs are striking but I want to move in a different direction. I would like to see a logo with the tag line “Discovering Your Life Purpose” with a sub tag line “Be Fearless”. The logo should reflect fearless pursuit of one’s vision. With Gratitude. Tom

RetroMetro/Steve- I see the wisdom of your guidance and want you to know that you have been a great coach to me. Tom
